Brewers...this year's Mets?

I can't believe the total collapse of the Milwaukee Brewers. They have lost 13 out of the last 17 games which led to the firing of manager Ned Yost. The Brewers, who looked like they would have a promising postseason, is now struggling to even make it there. They are fighting with the New York Mets for a shot at the NL wild card. The Brew Crew has nine games left to prove themselves.

This year's Brewers are like last year's Mets. Last year it was the Mets who collapsed in the race to the postseason. Is this the year for the Brewers to collapse?

Tonight's game definitely showed that the Brewers are going to have to step it up in every aspect--defense, pitching and offense. They blew a 6-2 lead sending the Cubs-Brewers game into extra innnings. The Cubs went on to win it in 12 innings and took a nine game lead over the Brewers in the NL Central. The Cubs can clinch their division if they win on Friday and the Brewers lose in Cincinati.

The Cubs can almost taste it. They are most definitely in need after a 100 year drought.
But Milwaukee is still tasting the strange brew.
